Sheila Ellis, President; Co-Founder
Sheila may work behind the scenes in the office, but she's very involved
in AmeriClean's customer service and scheduling. She helps plan for
the best and most efficient use of each technician's time so no customer
is kept waiting, and so every customer is more than satisfied. The "behind
the scenes" work Sheila does translates into a smoothly running business
that makes time to focus on each customer's needs. "We care," says
Sheila, and it shows. Sheila and Russ are the proud parents of sons Matt,
who lives in Philadelphia with his wife Whitney, and Tim who resides in Falling
Waters, WV.
Russ Ellis, Vice President; Co-Founder
Russ Ellis came from a background in mechanics, and, in his attention
to detail, it shows. "I am very, very, very particular about how
things are done," Russ says. He loves a challenge and loves to test
the newest cleaning and restoration products to make sure that AmeriClean's
customers get only the best. Russ also trains and certifies each AmeriClean
technician based on Russ's own continuing education and the company's
certification with the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, & Restoration
(IICRC). Russ sets and keeps extremely high standards in customer service;
he makes sure that each technician understands that his or her job is to
help each and every customer be glad that he or she chose AmeriClean.
Stephanie Butler, Operations Manager
A typical day for Stephanie includes answering and making customer
calls, preparing information on each client's needs for technicians
to use when they provide services, serving as a "home base" for
technicians to check in with when starting or leaving a client job, and
scheduling. "This is a really positive atmosphere. We take pride
in what we do, and we provide 100% customer service. If our customers are
not completely satisfied, we go back and make sure they are pleased," Stephanie
says. When she's not at work, Stephanie and her husband Bill, a real
estate agent, enjoy spending time with their son, five-year-old Elijah.
Stephanie is active in her church and enjoys scrapbooking. The family lives
in Hedgesville, WV.
Tim Ellis, Director of Marketing
Tim’s professional and personal experiences uniquely qualify him to serve as Director of Marketing for AmeriClean. After earning an Associate’s degree in graphic design at Hagerstown’s Kaplan University, Tim developed and successfully ran his own company, Inertia Graphics, specializing in print and Web marketing for businesses. Tim has designed printed promotions for AmeriClean since 2002. Tim also has a qualification not many can match: he started to learn about carpet and textile cleaning techniques when he was three years old and began to ride along with Russ in the beginning stages of the business. Since then, Tim has attended cleaning and restoration training sessions and, along with the rest of AmeriClean’s staff, keeps up to date on new cleaning techniques and services so he can help customers learn about them, too.
Don DuVall, Cleaning Technician
After twenty-five years, it would be surprising to find the same team
members at most companies—but AmeriClean is different. Along with
the founders, Russ and Sheila Ellis, one of the technicians has worked
as part of the team since 1985. That team member is Don DuVall. "We
do great work and we care about our customers," says Don, and it's
clear that he's proud of the work he's done and continues to
do with expertise. Don, who is the proud father of two adult children,
Brad and Danielle, lives in Boonsboro and enjoys fly fishing.
Ron Snyder, Jr. , Cleaning Technician
When Ron Snyder, Jr., joined the AmeriClean team in 2004, he'd already
been in the carpet cleaning business over 11 years. "I thought one
company was the same as the next, but I was wrong," says Ron. "This
is the best company I've ever worked for." Whether he's
describing AmeriClean's equipment, training, or use of the latest technology,
it's clear that he's proud of what he does. "Here, it's
a career," he adds. Ron possesses a rare quality shared by other AmeriClean
team members: he's able to do the technical, methodical, stain-removing
work at which he excels, and at the same time, he's undeniably a "people
person" who prides himself most on helping customers have a better
day than they did before he arrived at their homes. "My forte is customer
service," Ron says. He goes on to explain that he especially enjoys
talking with elderly customers, and that he's always very careful to
respect each client's property. At the same time, Ron enjoys keeping
up with the latest developments in carpet cleaning technology. "I like
doing my job," Ron says. Ron lives in Hagerstown and enjoys weightlifting
and other sports.
Todd Lawson, Cleaning Technician
Todd Lawson may be one of the newest members of AmeriClean's team,
but he's a veteran when it comes to cleaning technology. "I've
used just about every kind of cleaning method out there," he says matter-of-factly
yet politely. "If it's out there, I've done it." Todd
came to AmeriClean with more than sixteen years in the cleaning industry,
so he knows what he's talking about. He says that even with his considerable
experience, he's learned more about quality control since he came to
AmeriClean. "They interviewed me four times before they hired me," he
says, remarking on AmeriClean's high employee standards. Todd, who
is a NASCAR fan, and his wife Kristie, a bookkeeper, live with their three
boys, Christopher, Brendon, and Joshua, in Cearfoss.
"I just wanted to call and tell you how pleased I am! Tim did a wonderful job. He was very courteous, very professional, and has a great personality. The (AmeriClean's TV) commercial doesn't do you justice! I am very, very pleased!"
