It’s hard to believe that twenty-five years have passed.
In 1984, Russ and I started what was then our “little carpet cleaning company.” Our mission and objective at that time was to have a vehicle to make money to support our young family.
Back when we started, I was just a helper to Russ. I answered phones, booked work, and—in the middle of everything—raised two little boys. When we started AmeriClean, our sons were two and four years old.
What has happened in the last twenty-five years is simply amazing. First of all, our sons are now almost 30 and 28. Uh oh—I just told everyone how old I am!
Maybe that doesn’t matter, though. No matter how young or young at heart we are, everyone experiences CHANGE in life.
We’ve just elected a new president, a new CHANGE for our country. We’re all experiencing economic CHANGE. Over the years, we’ve seen dramatic CHANGE at AmeriClean, and not just in our personal lives.
In 1984, our cleaning method involved portable equipment; we also dyed and tinted carpet.
Now, we use truck-mounted hot water steam extraction that uses the latest and best technology. We’re also totally EPA compliant since we remove all wastewater generated by cleaning—we store the water in our trucks’ holding tanks and dispose of it safely.
We supply our customers with the best technology, and we keep the environment first—two AmeriClean benefits that really set us apart.
We’re ready for an impressive 2009, and we want to be there for you, our customers. Together, we’ll make it a great year for you and for the environment.
All the best to you as we look forward to CHANGE—and to things that, like AmeriClean’s firm commitment to being environmentally friendly, will (happily) stay the same.

As Chuck was cleaning my living room carpet, I was interested to watch what he was doing and we chatted about the method, which was different from the other company, and he explained his training and experience with the system. I was very pleased with the way the carpet looked when he finished and am sold on your way over the dry method.
